Overall, I would say this is an excellent photo.

The picture's quality is outstanding. Every feather and detail can be seen on the owl, as well as the surrounding grass it stands in.

Despite this, I would say it could be more on the "Original" side. I have seen many photos of owls, considering they promote such grace and power. Although out of these photos I've seen, this particular one is one of the best <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" title=";) (Wink)"/>

The technique is fantastic, especially because you are working with a live (and unpredictable) animal. However, I believe it would have been better if you captured the fowl's entire wingspan.

Does this picture impact me? Yes, it does. It shows me the intensity behind an owl through its position- not to mention those tiny, starting eyes!
